This Chinese-manufactured 249cc motorcycle emulates a 7/8-scale hypersport machine, and represents perhaps the furthest-yet encroachment into a domain up until now owned by Japanese and European manufacturers.

But while online venues have been asking whether the 250R might be a “Ninja 250 killer,” the man responsible for Bennche says he is not trying to compete with the Japanese.

At least not in all respects, that is.

Johnny Tai says his Bennche company of Carrolton, Texas prices its products significantly lower than its most likely rivals. Even so, the intention is clear, and the Megelli 250R cannot be seen as anything other than a competitive entry-level motorcycle.

Sempena siri perlumbaan Pusinga 4 Kejuaraan Cub Prix AAM Malaysia PETRONAS yang berlangsung  di Litar Antarabangsa Sepang, syarikat pengeluar Motorsikal dan Enjin Nasional (MODENAS) telah mengadakan konvoi ke Litar Sepang sebagai sokongan kepada Pasukan Modenas yang menyertai kejuaaraan Cub Prix.

Sejak pukul 8.00 pagi,kesemua jentera keluaran Modenas berkumpul di Putrajaya.Konvoi ini disertai oleh komuniti online Modenas dari Fan Page Modenas, Modenas GT128,Modenas CT,Modenas Elegan dan tidak ketinggalan keluaran pertama Modenas,iaitu Modenas Kriss.

The Canadian Grand Prix made good on its promise of providing the best race of the season so far, and Lotus Racing put in a great day’s work to see Heikki Kovalainen finish the race 16th, ahead of Petrov’s Renault, after a great battle on track in what proved to be punishing conditions for the tyres for the whole field. Jarno Trulli, who had been showing quick pace right from the start, pulled over on lap 42 after a vibration at the front end led to a problem with the braking system that put paid to his race. 

 Super GT defending champions LEXUS TEAM PETRONAS TOM’S – featuring the long partnership of Germany’s Andre Lotterer and Juichi Wakisaka – enters the battle for Round 4 as the championship leader; but will not, however, be the favourite to win the race at Sepang International Circuit this weekend. 

Carrying a weight handicap of 68kgs – courtesy of their superb performance in Round 2 and 3 – the PETRONAS-backed team faces an uphill test despite declaring that they were ready for the challenge to score their best result of the season – to score their first win of the season.

SEPANG, May 24, 2010: Japan’s biggest and hottest racing series, the Super GT International Series will be making a return to the Sepang International Circuit from June 18 to 20.

SIC will play host to Round 4 of the racing series, and the 2010 Super GT International Series will mark the 10^th anniversary of the event being held at the circuit. The race series has come a long way since it was first held at the circuit in June 2000.

“Malaysia is the only country to host the Super GT outside of Japan. When it first came to Malaysia, it was a purely Japanese race series, it was only followed by Japanese race fans and had Japanese sponsors,” said SIC CEO Razlan Razali.
